Name: | Demographic development and behavioural aspects (e.g. ‘crowding-out effect’) and their impact on the municipal waste charging policy. |
Registration number: | 16-14409S |
Project description: |
Demographic change is a societal phenomenon that has significant implications for the provision of environmental services at the local level. The development of demographic characteristics fundamentally influences the management of municipal waste in particular, as the behavior of households affects the production of municipal waste, its management (including sorting) and the effectiveness of the fee policy of municipalities. The main objective of the project was to evaluate the impacts of demographic changes, behavioural aspects (especially the crowding-out effect) and the structure of municipal waste management costs on the efficiency of the payment system in the Czech Republic.
The project is co-financed with the state support of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic. |
